ALTERATIONS & RETURNS POLICY – LA HẰNG DESIGN
1. Requesting alterations after receiving your áo dài
All alteration and return requests should be sent to: lahangdesign@gmail.com
You may also message us through La Hằng Design's social channels: Facebook or Instagram.
For clients at a distance
• Please describe the alteration in detail: too loose, too tight, too long, too short, sleeves, collar, and so on.
• We encourage you to include photographs or a short video of the garment being worn so our technicians can see the issue precisely.
• Once confirmed, please send the garment to:

• Once the alteration is complete, La Hằng Design will return the garment to you.

2. General alteration terms
• Each garment is entitled to a maximum of two alterations.
• Alteration requests must be made within five days of receiving the garment.
• Return shipping costs for alterations depend on the client's region.
• Alterations that go beyond the original design, change the silhouette, or exchange the piece for a different model may incur additional charges, which will be quoted in advance.
• Because every piece is handmade and highly personalised, each case is handled in the way that works best for both parties.
3. When complimentary alterations do not apply
La Hằng Design reserves the right to decline complimentary alterations where:
• The garment has been damaged through incorrect use, washing contrary to our care instructions, or external force.
• The client's measurements have changed significantly since the measurements were confirmed.
• The request changes the design from the version originally agreed.
• The garment has already been altered by a third party.
4. Returns policy
Because every garment is made to measure, pieces are not eligible for refund, except where:
• There is a serious technical fault on the part of La Hằng Design, for example a garment cut entirely to the wrong confirmed measurements.
• The garment differs entirely from the design agreed in writing or in images.
In these cases, La Hằng Design will:
Receive the garment back for inspection.
Prioritise correcting the piece through alteration.
Where the piece cannot be corrected, agree an appropriate resolution with the client, which may include a partial or full refund.
5. Turnaround time
• Standard alteration time: three to seven working days from receipt of the garment.
• For more complex work, we will confirm the specific timeline with you.
6. Responsibilities
The client agrees to
• Provide accurate measurements.
• Inspect the garment carefully on receipt.
• Notify us promptly if any issue arises.
La Hằng Design commits to
• Supporting alterations within reasonable scope.
• Being transparent about any additional cost.
• Ensuring the finished garment meets the highest quality standard for the design agreed.
